HTC EVO – The first 4G US cell phone

If you had to create the mobile phone of your dreams, how would it be? Two cameras and video chat? Voice and data at the same time? The capability to connect the phone to your high-definition TV in order to watch movies? A huge screen? Well, your dreams could come true on June 4th (especially if you have a contract with the major cellular and telecommunications company Sprint): That day, the longed-for HTC EVO 4G will be available for sale in the American market.
Experts agree that the HTC EVO 4G will be the “must-have” mobile experience for many users during the upcoming Summer season. Meanwhile,  this new gadget is still getting a lot of buzz  from the IT community and direct and indirect sponsors.
CNET, LAPTOP and eWeek ranked  the HTC EVO 4G as the “Best in Show” when it was announced at the CTIA (International Association for the Wireless Telecommunications Industry, dedicated to expanding the wireless frontier) conference this Spring.
According to the technology weblog Engadget, the HTC EVO is “easily the best specced phone we’ve ever witnessed”. Also, the Financial Times added some enthusiastic comments, for example: “The first 4G phone in the US, the HTC EVO… ticks just about all the boxes for my ideal phone.”
